Guitar Hero III

January 7th, 2008

I am still loving Guitar Hero III, but I have a HUGE problem I am getting the red ring of doom.  I bought an Xbox 360 about a year and a half ago, and I got the red rings and sent it in.  While waiting for the return of my Xbox the Elite was released, so I bought it because it was supposed to have fewer problems.  This is not true!  My elite is now getting the red ring, and the repaired xbox that I got back is lent out to my brother because his is being repaired.  This is getting out of hand, they need to make a better product.

Guitar Hero III

November 10th, 2007

So last night while “Christmas shopping for other people” I picked up Guitar Hero III for the Xbox 360.  I had no idea how much of a challenge it would be to hit colored buttons and stuff but it really is!  This has given me a new found appreciation  for real guitarists though, because they have to remember so much more, and it is wayyyy harder to play a real guitar.  Other than it being challenging, it is a pretty fun game whenever I mess up really bad I just start laughing a lot.

Call of Duty 4

November 6th, 2007

The new Call of Duty 4 game came out today, and I am already hearing rave reviews about the game. It is available on Xbox 360, PC, Playstation 3 and Nintendo DS. I find it kind of strange that it is available on the Nintendo DS and not the Wii or something. Anyways if you are a fan of war games, you know that you have to pick this one up for sure. You can get the collector’s edition which includes bonus DVDs and a hardcover art book.

Cabela’s Big Game Hunter

November 6th, 2007

This is the kind of hunting that I totally approve of, you can do all of your big game hunting without actually hurting any of the animals. I have played previous Cabela’s hunting games, and they are pretty fun. The game is available for the Xbox 360, and it will be fun hunting all of the animals that you may never get a chance to in real life. It is interesting because you do actually have to be tactical when you hunt even on video games.
