Backing Up The Computer

September 21st, 2009

I really wish that I would have bought that online backup account that
I was looking at a few months because I am really sad that I had a
virus and I lost out on most of my work and also a lot of pictures
that I cannot replace. I am going to get an online backup account now
because then I can store all of my pictures securely and safely online
so that if anything happens to my computer again it will not be as
devastating!

Memory Confusion

March 23rd, 2009

When it comes to memory my grandmother is a little confused. She got a digital camera for Christmas last year and it is really nice. The camera takes a SD card (secure digital) and she bought a compact flash card for it instead and couldn’t figure out why it would not work. I had to explain that some just fit and some don’t. I’m going to have to get her a SD card so that she can see how fun digital pictures really are.

RAM

May 31st, 2008

I need to get some more ram put into my computer I like to play a lot of different games, and if you do not have enough ram the games run really choppy and it is really irritating. I do not want to have to turn down the performance of my game, I just want to have great hardware to run it at max power.

New Video Games?

January 14th, 2008

Are there any video games that are any good that are not first person shooters?  I am looking for something new to play for the PC that does not involve FPS.  I was thinking about playing Diablo 2 again, but after World of Warcraft it might just seem kind of boring.  I am just trying to find a game to play that I will not get extra addicted to.  Give me some suggestions please!

Comp USA

January 12th, 2008

Comp USA is doing a huge inventory reduction and some of the stores are even going out of business.  The video games are going to be on sale as well, so look for great savings on video games among other things.  From what I read on the site they sold to another company that is not going to be the same, so there should be some good upcoming Comp USA deals, I am not sure how you find out where the closest ones are to your area though, if anyone knows feel free to post it in a comment and I will give you some credit for it.

Pirates

January 10th, 2008

If you are a fan of the different MMORPGs this one was a pretty good one.  I got into the beta test a couple months back and since I was still addicted to WoW at the time I did not give it all the credit it really deserved.  Being able to steal other people’s ships is really awesome!  If you order this game from Gamestop.com you can get in the game as early as 15 days before official launch which is on January 21st.  You also get an exclusive parrot which will be really cute I am sure.  If you are looking for something new to do as a break from WoW this is a great game to pick up.

Zoo Tycoon 2

December 16th, 2007

I have been looking for a cheesy little game to play in between World of Warcraft and Halo 3, because I get bored pretty easily. I picked up the Zoo Tycoon 2 zoo keeper collection, which includes Zoo Tycoon 2, Zoo Tycoon 2 endangered species, and Zoo Tycoon 2 African adventures. I played the sandbox mode for quite awhile the other day, but I picked a small spot, so I ended up running out of room. It kept telling me that visitors liked my zoo a lot though, and oddly enough the penguins brought in the most donations from the visitors. If you like tycoon games, this one is really fun.

Call of Duty 4

November 6th, 2007

The new Call of Duty 4 game came out today, and I am already hearing rave reviews about the game. It is available on Xbox 360, PC, Playstation 3 and Nintendo DS. I find it kind of strange that it is available on the Nintendo DS and not the Wii or something. Anyways if you are a fan of war games, you know that you have to pick this one up for sure. You can get the collector’s edition which includes bonus DVDs and a hardcover art book.
