Fingers Are Freezing
I do not think that I am the only one out there that gets really cold fingers during winter while on the computer. I was just thinking about what a splendid idea it would be to have some kind of warmer for your hands built into the keyboard. I figure it is because my fingers get cold anyways, but they are always up and out on the keyboard which makes the circulation even worse than normal. I have thought about wearing gloves, but that would just make typing hard and since I type a lot it would get annoying really quickly. Any suggestions? Do you all get cold fingers too?
Helping With My Sister’s Wedding Via Internet
My sister lives in Raleigh NC and she is getting married again, so I told her I would help as much as I could over the internet. I started looking up raleigh wedding photographers because she did not get good pictures last time and I wanted to make sure that she had good photos this time. I also started looking up bakeries, but unfortunately we do not have the technology to taste test online yet! I am looking forward to helping as much as I can to make her special day great.
Saving Important Photos
I just added new scanner software to my computer because I found a ton of pictures that I want to keep online so that I can have them safely stored somewhere. Pictures like this that are irreplaceable are better kept online in case of fire or something here at home. I have a lot of pictures of my dad and those mean the world to me now and I would be completely devastated if I lost them.
Dream Home Shopping
I love looking at different real estate listings because I like to picture what kind of house I would buy if I could get the money. I seen some very beautiful Table Rock lake homes and that is one of the places that I would really like to live. I want to move so badly from where I am now, but it is not in the near future because of having bad credit and not a lot of money to spare.
Electronic Doctor’s Offices
I went to a doctor's office recently where they actually had everything automated and digital. I'm not sure why all doctor's offices are not going to this system. It was neat because it popped up my allergies when the doctor looked at my chart and then he put everything in about my visit and it went to the point of care carts up front and I paid and it just felt very fast and efficient. I would really like to see all offices go to this because it saves times and probably makes the waiting time a lot shorter.
Custom Laptops FTW!
I would really like to get myself a nice new custom laptop built for my needs because I’m not a cookie cutter computer kind of girl. I want something that I can game on and do a lot of media on as well. I love watching videos and I love listening to music while gaming so my computer would be nice and fast with a lot of storage and great graphics.
Web Hosting Qualities
I have to find a new web host and there are just a few things that I must have when I find this new one. I have to find pci compliant hosting along with a company that cares about its customers more than the company that I am currently with. My web hosting service just seems to complain a lot about problems that I have nothing to do with on my sites.
My Visit With Grandma
I went to visit my grandmother in the nursing home a few weeks ago and I saw some unsightly brown spots on her hands. I was concerned as anyone should be so I asked the nurse what it could be. She told me it was nothing to worry about they were just age spots and wouldn’t cause my grandmother any harm. I was relieved to hear this and the rest of the visit was spectacular.
Taxes For Businesses
When I was filling out my taxes a couple of weeks ago I had to tell my preparer all about the different office supplies that I have to buy for my business, from paper down to paper clips because they all count as business expenses. I love being able to claim all of these things because it makes my profit just a little better when all is said and done.
Backing Up The Computer
I really wish that I would have bought that online backup account that
I was looking at a few months because I am really sad that I had a
virus and I lost out on most of my work and also a lot of pictures
that I cannot replace. I am going to get an online backup account now
because then I can store all of my pictures securely and safely online
so that if anything happens to my computer again it will not be as
devastating!
