My Prodigy Niece
My niece has a small keyboard and she has actually taken to it quite well over the past couple of years. I believe that the keyboard was bought as a toy, but she has learned how to play different songs on it. I was talking to her mom about possibly going in on a dave smith keyboard for her for her birthday this year. I think that she has real potential just from hearing what she does on her little toy keyboard. This kid has shows she makes us watch, so I think it would be a gift she would truly love.
A Great Indoor Pool, Just Too Cold
My uncle has a pool and he just ended up building a room around it. It is not an actual part of the house, but he made it into part of the house. The room is not really warm, but the pool is not freezing over. I think that he still needs to get a raypak heat pump for the pool so that the water is warmer than it is right now. The room itself is not that bad, but I think because the pool is underground it stays a lot cooler than the rest of the room.
So Many Kinds Of Cigars
When I decided to find a few nice cigars for my father’s birthday this year, I had no idea how many different kinds there are to choose from. I ended up doing some research about the different varieties that are available and it really seems like one of those things that it really depends on the person as to what kind they will like the best. I decided to go with a davidoff for him and maybe one other one, and then if he really likes them I’ll stick with that kind from now on.
My Outdoor Furniture
I always end up complaining in summer that I do not have any kind of outdoor furniture. I think that this year I am going to solve the problem early and shop in winter for all of my summer needs. I want to get 2 folding picnic tables, a gazebo type thing, and some kind of fire bowl. I want to be able to have a lot of people over in summer and they all need somewhere to sit outside. I love having barbeques, but we always end up coming back inside because there is nowhere to sit!
Fingers Are Freezing
I do not think that I am the only one out there that gets really cold fingers during winter while on the computer. I was just thinking about what a splendid idea it would be to have some kind of warmer for your hands built into the keyboard. I figure it is because my fingers get cold anyways, but they are always up and out on the keyboard which makes the circulation even worse than normal. I have thought about wearing gloves, but that would just make typing hard and since I type a lot it would get annoying really quickly. Any suggestions? Do you all get cold fingers too?
Over The Holidays
This holiday season was a crazy one - that is for sure. I was so excited that I was going to get to see my family I forgot a bunch of things that I was going to buy and I ended up having to go shopping the day before Christmas Eve. I remember why I always make sure to get my shopping done early now. My brother is still here for another couple of days, and it is always great to see him. I had him come over one night and we just watched movies all night and had some good laughs. I am glad that the holidays are over, but I do already miss my family being home.
Slacker Radio Rocks
So I decided to finally try out some internet radio. I ended up signing up for Slacker radio and it has some really good music on it. I found a channel called "Great Songs You Forgot" and at about the third song I had to add this station to my favorites. I heard Warren G's Regulate and then Fantastic Voyage by Coolio and I was sold on this channel. I recommend checking out this internet radio if you haven't yet because it is cool, even if you just do the free version like I do!
Going To The Caribbean
How wonderful would it be to have an all inclusive caribbean honeymoon after your wedding? I think it would be one of the best things that you could imagine. After all the hard work and chaos of a wedding to be able to go and relax in such a beautiful setting would be just about perfect. It is even better when you do not have to worry about food or anything like that.
Fencing In Your Pool
I am not sure if it is a law all around the country, but where I live if you have a pool you are required by law to have a fence around it so children could not just access it and possibly drown. It is important to have a pool fence az because you would not want something to happen to someone just because you did not feel like having a fence. I am a firm believer in you are better to be safe than to be sorry.
Thinking About Switching Majors (Again)
I keep thinking about starting school all over again so that I can take courses that are related to the healthcare field. I have been taking marketing and business, but so far it has not helped me to find a job. There are all kinds of jobs available in the healthcare industry, I was just looking at one the other day which were Speech-Language Pathologist Jobs and it sounded interesting enough I am going to look into the schooling aspect.
