My Prodigy Niece
My niece has a small keyboard and she has actually taken to it quite well over the past couple of years. I believe that the keyboard was bought as a toy, but she has learned how to play different songs on it. I was talking to her mom about possibly going in on a dave smith keyboard for her for her birthday this year. I think that she has real potential just from hearing what she does on her little toy keyboard. This kid has shows she makes us watch, so I think it would be a gift she would truly love.
Slacker Radio Rocks
So I decided to finally try out some internet radio. I ended up signing up for Slacker radio and it has some really good music on it. I found a channel called "Great Songs You Forgot" and at about the third song I had to add this station to my favorites. I heard Warren G's Regulate and then Fantastic Voyage by Coolio and I was sold on this channel. I recommend checking out this internet radio if you haven't yet because it is cool, even if you just do the free version like I do!
Question About Invitations
I am throwing a baby shower for my friend in May and I am excited because I love to plan parties and this one will be a lot of fun. I already found the perfect baby shower invitations to send out and I have the list of people, but I do not know what is the best time frame to send these out? I want to do it enough ahead of time so that people can add it to their schedule, but at the same time I do not want to send them too early and have them get forgotten about. What would you say the best time frame to send out invitations is?
My School’s Equestrian Team
When I was in school my school actually had an equestrian team. I went to a small country school so I imagine schools like this actually often have them. I always wanted to be a part of the team but there is no way my parents would have bought me a horse, and that is kind of an important part of being on the equestrian team!
Expensive Textbooks
I found that when it is time to buy my books for the school year that Amazon books are cheaper than buying them from the bookstore at the college. I would rather buy online and save some money than buy new and spend a ton. I have spent a thousand dollars on books in one semester before, they are so expensive!
Going To Concerts
I love going to concerts. I have so many concert tickets stubs in my scrapbook that it is crazy. I have been to some crazy ones too, and even though I am a girl I still go into the mosh pit quite often. I have not been to a concert in about 2 months though, but this Halloween I will be going to another one and this one is sure to make my record book of the craziest concerts in history!
Queen
I have been on a kick as of late, listening to Queen. Queen was so awesome, whenever I hear "Don't Stop Me Now" I feel like I could take on the world or something, I just get happy and excited. None of the music I hear now days does this for me! Was Queen an original boy band? I'm kidding! Don't give me that look!
ICP’s newest/dopest CD ”Shangri-La”
ICP’s newest cd is so cool I listen to it over and over all day every day. I don’t know about all of ya’ll but ICP is dope . Juggalo’s and Juggalete’s all around the world you probably agree with me on this one. This cd they changed it up a little bit but I like it. I cant tell you which track is my favorite because I love them all.
Fergie
Is anyone else sick of listening to Fergie's songs talking about how great she is? Why do people let this kind of music get so popular? Every time I flip on the radio it seems like within 10 minutes they play that annoying ass song Fergalicious or however it is spelled. A funny note about that song though is I kept thinking she said "my mustache up in the club" I was mildly entertained by that for a minute, but not long enough to hear this song over and over again!
Musical Slump
I am not even sure what kind of music I like anymore. I have not heard anything that "speaks" to me in at least about a year. There have been no songs that just make me feel good or any power songs. You know, the kind of music that makes you feel like you could conquer the world? I do not know if it is just me or if the music has really just been that crappy.
