Sheesh, April!
April really has not offered much in the way of movies. I can not wait until summer when all of the good stuff starts to come out! I am getting ready to go to Florida for 2 weeks, and I am so excited! I am going to miss writing on here, but thankfully for my blog's sake there is not much to blog about in the entertainment biz anyways! Have a good couple of weeks!
Hot Fuzz
Hot Fuzz is set to release Friday (April 20, 2007). I loved Shaun of the Dead, and so I am pretty excited to see Hot Fuzz. Most people that do not even like zombie movies, or horror flicks really got a kick out of Shaun of the Dead, so I am guessing that Hot Fuzz will be as awesome, and if not even better! I don't really know if you could top Shaun of the Dead though, that is a tough act to follow.
Year Zero
I am so happy, today was the release of Nine Inch Nail's Year Zero album. I ran out to buy it when I woke up, and I have to say I am in love with this album! Trent Reznor has showed us into doomsday. A really amazing album from NIN, I recommend any rock fan to give this album a good listen. I am posting a video that they released before the album actually came out!
Oldie But Goodie
I watched a good old movie today, it is called The Jerk and it stars Steve Martin. If you have never seen The Jerk, you need to go watch it, like right now! My favorite part of the movie is when the crazy guy starts shooting cans, I will add a YouTube video of The Jerk so you can see what I am talking about, and if you have not seen the movie, you will understand why I am saying you have to watch it!
This Week’s Upcoming Movies
Aqua Teen's much already talked about movie is releasing this week. I expect to see some numbers since the whole 'mooninite scare' fiasco, that should have generated a lot of publicity!
The movie that I want to see this week that is coming out though is Disturbia. It looks really good! I love it when there are movies that I actually want to watch on the big screen 
Grindhouse
Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez making a double feature movie? Someone wake me up quick! Grindhouse is set to come out tomorrow, and I will be at the theater with bells on waiting to see Tarantino's new flick.
This is a double feature movie, which means 2 movies in one! Deathproof is directed by Tarantino and Planet Terror is directed by Rodriguez. What an amazing combination this is sure to be!
April Fools!
A happy April Fool's day to all of you, if you are practical jokers like myself, this is one of the key days of the year! I am just trying to think of what to do today, it has to be something my family will not suspect. I think a pregnancy announcement might be too obvious. I need some ideas, I am coming up really short! Anyways, I hope you all have a great day, I know I will!
